This tool converts an IPv4 CIDR notation of

the form

x4.x3.x2.x1/k
into an IP address range

a4.a3.a2.a1 - b4.b3.b2.b1
where

0 <= xi,ai,bi <= 255,

and

0 <= k <= 32.

It will also show the corresponding netmask

and the number of addresses in the range.

The following IPv4 ranges in CIDR notation

are reserved for private usage:

10.0.0.0/8
172.16.0.0/12
192.168.0.0/16
